Browns verses Bengals

Vegas Line: Cleveland - 3 1/2  Over/Under: 43

What to expect from the Bengals?

The Bengals are playing better ball now with the insertion of Kitna at the QB. position. The Bengals (1-8) were coming off their first victory of the season last week, a 38-3 rout of Houston. That is allot more points then the Browns scored against the Texans!
This past Sunday against the Ravens Corey Dillon rushed for 102 yards on 21 carries and added 48 yards on five receptions, while Brandon Bennett scored on a 94-yard kickoff return. Chad Johnson had seven catches for 110 yards, including a 39-yard touchdown pass from Jon Kitna, who finished 28-of-41 for 272 yards. Neil Rackers kicked two field goals for Cincinnati. The Bengals lost 38 to 27 but moved the ball against the Ravens defense.
In the first meeting the Browns won the game 20 to 7 but the Bengals could have easily won that game! They will use Cory Dillion more this time around and use play-fakes to set up the pass for their QB Kitna.

What the Browns defense must do!

Stop Dillion and wrap him, in the first game there was many missed tackles. The Browns should be pretty healthy for this game esspecially in the secondary. They need to gamble and blitz Kitna and play some man to man defense. Courtney Brown, needs to keep up his great play that he started right before the break against Pittsburgh.

What the Browns offense must do!

The Browns had two weeks to work on their offense and especially the running game part of it. Coach Davis feels the Browns need to establish the running game this season. So far first round pick RB, William Green hasn't done well and the injury to RB Jamel White means the Green and James Jackson will get all the work.
The Browns will try to get the running game going against the weak defense of the Bengals. I think the play calling will be more imaginative after the complaining from the media and fans.

Season record on game picks: 6-2   1 push
What do I think?

I think that Coach Davis had time to look at a few things the last two weeks and hopefully fixed them. I hope if the running game isn't working they will not be so stubborn and start to throw the ball more. The Bengals are not a good team but they still can beat the Browns...but- we have a better QB, Wide receivers, Defense and special teams. Take the Browns!

Some after game thoughts:

The Browns won and by seven points! I thought the Browns would work on their running game on their bye week and I was right! Rookie RB William Green, looked good and he stiff armed a Bengal DB. to the ground that was awesome!

This was a must win for the Browns because they go to New Orleans next week and the Saints are playing very well! There are two things I will complain about in the Bengals game. 1. The play of the special teams and the coaching special teams have been giving huge kickoff and punt returns? 2. When the Browns get into the Red Zone, they tried to power it in with their running game instead of turning Couch, loose?(it isn't working)
