What to expect from Jaguars?

Quarterback Mark Brunell, hurt his middle finger on his throwing hand in the 25-23 loss to Pittsburgh. The Jaguars have Kent Graham and rookie David Garrard as backups, although coach Tom Coughlin said he wouldn't make any decisions about the game against the Browns until he sees how Brunell is.

Also hurt were tight end Kyle Brady (ankle), linebacker T.J. Slaughter (knee) and kick returner Elvis Joseph (concussion), although Coughlin said none of the injuries appeared to be serious. The Jaguars are still a very dangerous team and owe us one for the questionable hit on Brunell by Browns DT Gerard Warren.

The Jaguars still have talented skill players in RB's Taylor and Mack and also at the WR position with Smith and Shaw. I suspect that Brunell will play this game and it depends how well he can grip the ball on how their offense will go? Our old MLB Wali Rainer will be fired up and look for him to show up big time for their defense!

What the Browns defense must do!

This sounds like a broken record with stopping the run and putting some pressure on the quarterback...but it is? I don't know what happened to our attack defense? We play so nonassertive rushing three or four linemen with no blitzing and not being able to stop the run? Someone needs to slap the person who is coming up with our defensive schemes!

What the Browns offense must do!

It was a woeful performance by our whole offensive team...from the game-plan down to the water boy! The Browns are running the ball allot better, but I hope they get a lead before they start running like they did last week? The offensive-line forgot how to pass block, concentrating on the run blocking? Couch, took a beating last week! The line needs to step up and protect Couch better and our coaching staff needs to look at the teams that have beaten Jacksonville already and work out a game plan to duplicate that.

What do I think?

I was really disappointed in last weeks lost to Carolina, along with the millions of other Browns fans! The Browns went on a losing streak last year in December and I'm not sure they can turn it around? I'm hoping that last weeks embarrassing performance by the team will motivate them to turn it around this week! Take the Browns with the points!

Some after game thoughts:

Boy when you thought they lost the game along came the "Hail Marry!" There were quite a few break downs on the special teams during the game? Silly penalties hurt them along with usually reliable kickers Dawson and Gardocki? The middle of the Browns offensive-line is very weak and does get out-muscled!

QB. Tim Couch, looked lost a few times during the game...don't know if it was because of his line getting pushed back into his face or he kept trying to make big plays? I do have a question on why Forge Fazio, our defensive cordinator waited till the 13 week to start blitzing our defense?
