Vegas Line: Cleveland +6 Over/Under: 42 The Steelers are coming off a bye week and have lost their first two games of the year! So the bye week gave the Steelers a chance to work on their problems. They will try to establish a running game using Bettis and some control runs by their quarter back Stewart. This is a must win game for the Steelers and I would watch out for some trick plays. The Browns defense played a good game last week against the Titans and I hope they continue to build on that. They need to stop the stupid penalties and play under control. They need to shadow Kordell Stewart and contain him in the pocket and force him to throw the ball. They know the Steelers had the extra week to prepare for them and I think they will use Jamel White quite a bit...screens, short dump passes. Also look for more passes to our TE and the Browns will go deep to Morgan and Andre Davis. Hopefully the deep passes will pull the Steelers safeties back. I'm trying to figure out why the Steelers are six points favorites? Is the fix in or it's a must win game for the Steelers? I guess I will go along with the must win game for the Steelers but I don't think they will cover the spot? Take the points and the Browns! Am I betting the game...nope I want to see at least two more games before I lay down some green. |

The Browns are their own worst enemies in another game they should have won! They did cover the spot but I really wanted them to win the darn game. Costly penalties and dropped passes and some very conservative play calling when the Browns had the lead caused the loss!
Tim Couch critics will be out in force because of the loss, but in all fairness Tim did play well enough to win the game. WR Quincy Morgan dropped a very easy touchdown pass and Dawson had a field goal kick in over-time partically blocked. DE Courtney Brown, is starting to look healthy and the defense played well until Kordell Stewart was replaced by QB.Tommy Maddox in the fourth quarter. Maddox, moved the Steelers with a no-huddle passing attack?
