Browns verses Jaguars

Vegas Line: Cleveland + 8 Over/Under: 36.0

What to expect from Jaguars offense?

The Jaguars are playing great ball beating the Steeler and Titans! The win over the Titans was costly when the star running back Fred Taylor exit Sunday's 13-6 win over Tennessee early in the second quarter with what the club thinks is a groin strain.

At least the Jaguars learned they have some depth behind Taylor in the form of third-year former undrafted free agent Stacey Mack. Pressed into service by Taylor's injury, the burly Mack (6-1, 237 pounds) plowed through the unsuspecting Titans for 80 yards on 18 carries, including a 22-yard touchdown run in the second quarter in which Mack broke three tackles. QB Brunnel is throwing the ball well too Smith and Cardell!

What the Browns defense has to do!

QB Brunell, was sacked three times and constantly under pressure. Of the starters, guard Brad Meester and rookie right tackle Maurice Williams struggled most! The Browns pass rush will put plenty of preasure on Brunell and will shut down their running game and hope their interception streak continues.

What the Browns must do!

Protect Couch, and stop the Jaguars pass rush and continue were they left off with Jackson rushing the ball! They need too use Aron Shea, and Mike Sellars more in their attack.

What do I think?

This will be the Browns biggest test and their first road game. The Jaguars defensive line is playing good along with their secondary. Detroit helped the Browns out last week with all the penalties and turn-overs! I don't think the Jaguars will do this and will win...by eight points I'm not sure about that, good time to lay-off from betting this game.

Some Thoughts:

Great game! I don't think it matter that much if it was Brunell, or Quinn that quarterbacked the Jaguars! I didn't see that much of a drop off when Quinn came in. Fred Taylor, is better then Stacy Mack and he would have helped quite a bit!

The one thing I liked was the Browns stayed in the game and it didn't bother them when the Jaguars scored a quick 14 points in the third quarter! Tim Couch still looks a little uncomfortable with some of his young receivers...time will help that! It looks like Tre Johnson, will be out for 6 weeks?
