Browns verses Patriots

Vegas Line:Patriots - 7  Over/Under --

What to expect from Patriots offense?

This will be Bill Bilichick first time back to Cleveland after his stint being the Browns head coach for Modell. To bad he doesn't have Eric Metcalf on his team-ha! The Browns would know the play would be Metcalf up the middle-ha! Drew Bledsoe hurt his thumb and might not play, 50-50 chance. If he doesn't start it will be Q.B. John Friesz. Bilichick likes to play consertive offense and will run rookie R.B. JR Redman quite a bit and throw in some safe passes.

What the Browns defense has to do!

They must stop the Patriots running game and make the Patriots turn the ball over. Field position will be critical in this game. Our defense needs to toughen up in the fourth quarter!

What the Browns must do!

Keep improving on their passing game. Pederson played much better last week. Jamel White needs to figure more in the offense. He hit the holes much faster then Prentice. No turn overs and keep away from the stupid penalties!

What do I think?

I think the Browns have a chance to win if the offense keeps improving and the defense plays hard the whole game. Would I bet the Browns to win? No... Patriots by 10!

*Results*

With Belichick returning to the city in which he coached for five relatively disappointing seasons, the Browns were ready for their former leader and took out the frustrations of a seven-game losing streak on him. In winning for the first time since Week Three, Cleveland (3-8) surpassed its win total from last season and the 19 points represented its highest total since a 29-21 loss at Arizona on October 8.
