Browns verses Eagles

Vegas Line: Eagles - 14  Over/Under: 34.5

What to expect from Eagles offense?

The Eagles come into Cleveland with a 9-5 record and are playing for a play-off spot. The running game has been led by quarterback Donovan McNabb, when Duce Staley went down. McNabb is the Eagles offense has been very effective. They play a tough defense with first round pick defensive tackle Corey Simon playing at a Pro Bowl level.

What the Browns defense has to do!

The Browns defense has been getting tired because of the offense can't stay on the field long enough to give them a rest. They still play hard and will try to keep McNabb in the pocket and put pressure on him. Playing at home will help them but there is going to be plenty of empty seats at the stadium.

What the Browns must do!

Doug Pederson will start and was cut by the Eagles this year and knows the defence. These players will be playing their hearts out because coach Palmer has been taking the heat for the offense being out scorerd 92-7 in the last two games. The papers and sports talk radio have been brutal and they hear this stuff! Look for the short passing game and some trick plays thrown in!

What do I think?

I'm very disapointed in the way the media is handling this! Instead of saying that this offense is decimated by injuries, and there is no way they could move the ball and score points. I guess the truth doesn't sell papers or get callers to call the stations? They put the blame on coach Palmer? No coach could do any better with this team at this point! I don't think the Browns will win but I look for them to come out playing for the coach! Philly by 14!

*Results*

The game went the way I thought it might with the Browns playing hard for them selfs and the coach! Coach Palmer used plenty of different tricks on offense to keep Philly's defense off balance.First time I ever seen three different quarterbacks used in the first series of play-ha!
