![]() ![]() Vegas Line:CLEVELAND + 3 Over/Under: 35 Another team who had a bye week before they played us. They got a chance to study the game films of our first two games and have an idea what our defense is capable of...or not. The Steelers got shut out 16-0 against the Ravens the first game. They tried to use both Q.B. during the game. Kent Graham started and Kordell took over when they got down near the goal line against the Ravens but couldn't score! Look for them to try and run Jerome Bettis more and put the speedier Huntley in once in a while. They'll try to use screens and draws to slow the Browns pass rush. Quick dump off passes to the backs and TE. One other option is using Plaxico Burris height on our short DB's. They'll keep the pass rush on and look for Orpheus Roye and Courtney Brown to have a big games. The Browns defense wants this one very badly and look for a repeat performance from last week! They'll shut down their run and will have some key interceptions! Losing Jim Pyne for the season has hurt the offensive line. He will be replaced by Jim Bundren. This line will be tested very quickly by different blitzes. The offense will come out firing and will try to establish their running game again. One thing that doesn't change to much about the Steelers is their defense, it's still pretty tough. Give Couch the time he will pick them apart. This should be a low scoring game with plenty of great defensive plays coming from the Browns. The pressure is on the Browns offensive line to protect Couch and open some running lanes. The Steelers just don't have a consistent Q.B. but sometimes Kordell looks spectacular...just hope not this game! Browns by 3 |

Great game, Tim Couch had his best game so far in his young career! It would have been even better if it wasn't for some drops! JaJuan Dawson showed how he beat out Darrin Chiaverini in the preseason. Darrin had a couple of costly drops. The Browns defense had a hard time stopping the Bus by over running the plays and not staying in their run gaps. Courtney Brown also showed why he was taken with the number one pick with 6 tackles and three sacks...the last sack was the winning sack of the game! Third down with 14 seconds left, the Steelers have the ball on the Browns 10 yd. line. All they needed was to kick a field goal to take the game to OT. Cowher figured they had time to throw one pass into the endzone for the win and if it's incomplete they would have time to kick the tying field goal. The only things that could have stop this would be an interception or a SACK! Courtney Brown baby!!!!
