Browns verses Raiders

Vegas Line: CLEVELAND + 12  Over/Under 41

What to expect from Raiders offense?

The Raiders have the same record that the Browns have playing against some tougher teams. But they’re a hard team to figure out? They beat the Charger 9-6 then make a comeback against the Colts and win in a high scoring shoot out. Most people had them picked to beat Denver last week and they lost?

After watching Bettis running on the Browns look for Oakland using two-tight end sets and pounding away at the Browns' defense with RBs Napoleon Kaufman and Tyrone Wheatley. QB Rich Gannon is very mobile and can scramble so look for him to be running. If they get the running game going the Raiders have some very fast WR Tim Brown and WR Andre Rison.

What the Browns defense has to do!

Do a better job of containing the run and watch Gannon’s scrambles. If they can do that and then put some pressure on Gannon they’ll have a shot of getting some interceptions! Field position is going to be important in this game so it’s up to the defense to hold them.

What the Browns must do!

They must establish a running game, the aggressive Raiders defense will come after Couch all afternoon if they don't do it! The offensive line needs to give Couch the time they did last week and let Tim go deep.

What do I think?

The Browns are coming off a very emotional win winning their first game at home and winning two games in a row! This is a young feisty team and anything is possible but I’ll be surprised if they win this game in Oakland. Please surprise me! Raiders by 17

*Results Browns 10 Raiders 36*

The young team had a very bad day, and I mean every part of the team. The offense started out alright and scored a TD first! Then the Browns tried an onside kick which failed and gave the Raiders great field position and they tied the game up and just kept on going. Our offensive line couldn't give Couch the time to throw or Rhett holes to run through. Tim threw two interceptions which one of them was returned for a TD. The defensive line couldn't stop the big back again and the Raiders ran the ball well.
