![]() Vegas Line: Browns + 12 Over/Under 44 The Broncos just came off a two game losing streak by beating the Chargers 21-7 ! The Broncos defense won the game for them by shutting down a very bad Chargers offense. Once again, the Broncos are facing a running back crisis. Rookie KaRon Coleman, who showed some flashes of talent and energized Denver's offense in the second half of the Broncos' win over San Diego, has a sprained foot. His status for the Cleveland game is up in the air. Fellow rookie Mike Anderson, who is still the AFC's second-leading rusher, has bogged down the last two weeks.QB Brian Griese, Torn cartilage in shoulder; groin strain threw three TD passes and looked sharp against San Diego, but he's not throwing the ball deep at all. His groin strain is a minor injury. This once powerful offense is sputtering with injuries to key players. The Broncos like to have a balance attack but the key ingredient that they got going for them this week is playing at "Mile High!" The Browns defence didn't play well against the Cards and need to tighten up their pass coverage. There where just to many blown coverages? Griese can't throw a deep ball and that should help the Browns by moving the secondary up closer to the line to help with run support. Denver has a small offensive -line and this should bring our pass rush alive.Home field advantage will help out the Broncos because they're use to the thin air...we need to rotate the defensive line allot to keep them fresh. The Browns proved they could run the ball but the Cards went to a three man line and put eight players back. That confused Couch a little and took away our deep threat. The Browns need to mix the run and pass up on first down and hope they don't get to far behind in the game. Keep the offensive penalties down and no turn-overs! Denver is a tough place to play in and has one of the loudest crowds in the NFL. The Browns are on a three game losing streak, two of the games coming against quality teams. Till they show they can win on the road in tough environments I'm going with Denver by ten! |
