"HEY ART ANOTHER GREAT MOVE!"
Changing into his coaches uniform.

1998 was the first losing season Cowher had.

Pretty amazing taking into account all the free agents his team loses every year.

    2000 Draft

The Steelers recognize the talent of quarterback Kordell Stewart. Many of Stewart's problems the last two seasons were not totally his fault. In this draft, the Steelers have attempted to provide Stewart with some addtional weapons. For this reason, they selected receiver Plaxico Burress in the first round and Danny Farmer in round four. These are two big receivers who can make plays up the field. Coupled with Troy Edwards, Hines Ward and Malcom Johnson, the Steelers have a bevy of young receivers to develop, and Kordell has some additional targets to throw to.

The Steelers' selection of Tee Martin in the fifth round was an outstanding pick at this stage of the draft. From a talent standpoint, Martin was as good as any QB in this years draft. He is an exceptional athlete for the position who has great physical and mental toughness. He has overcome much in his personal life to be an achiever and a leader.

As a QB, there are some mechanical flaws Martin will need to improve, but what better teacher to have than Kevin Gilbright. If Tee can improve his accuracy and field vision, the Steelers might have found themselves a real keeper
